Open House Certification Requirements
- Must be in the Productivity Coaching Program and completed at least one 1-on-1 coaching session with their coach
- Completed all initial required MLS classes
- Subscribed to the electronic key service to be able to open keyboxes
- Have printed business cards (not the temporary cards provided by the office)
- Have a business email address that is separate from their personal email
- Have a professional (business) email signature for their business email
- Have visited a minimum of 5 open houses being held by other agents (including at least two held by other KW agents)
- Completed Open House Best Practices training
This training includes but is not limited to finding the open house, preparation prior to the open house, open house setup the day of the open house, what to do during the open house and how to talk to open house visitors, what to do after the open house, providing open house traffic reports to listing agents, open house professionalism, communication and safety, and other strategies and tactics for a successful open house. - Completed Advanced Open House Buyer Conversion training
This training covers additional strategies and techniques for communicating with buyers and handling buyer objections at an open house. - Downloaded the Open House Traffic Report template from the coaching web portal
Agents are instructed to complete an open house traffic report immediately after an open house and email it to the listing agent. A template is provided to the agent so they can easily send details about activity from the open house after the open house is complete. - Completed an open house certification application and pass a test covering the above training
